Nel nostro paese, a dicembre, \u00e8 tradizione decorare l’albero di Natale, il tipico abete. Ma ti sei mai chiesto come \u00e8 nata questa usanza?<\/p>\n

LE ORIGINI<\/strong>
\nSi pensa che sia nato nella sfera pagana: poich\u00e9 l’abete \u00e8 una pianta sempreverde, i Druidi – i sacerdoti celtici – hanno reso questo albero un simbolo di vita e lo hanno onorato in varie cerimonie.<\/p>\n

Perfino i romani, ai tempi di gennaio (il primo giorno di quel mese), erano soliti regalarsi un rametto di una pianta sempreverde come augurio di buona fortuna.<\/p>\n

L’idea dell’albero di abete come rappresentazione della vita eterna fu poi ripresa dai cristiani, che ne fecero il simbolo di Cristo stesso o, secondo altre leggende, dell’albero della vita menzionato nella Bibbia o del bene e dei cattivi, entrambi in crescita in Eden.<\/p>\n

Nel corso dei secoli, molte altre leggende e teorie si sono sviluppate attorno all’albero di Natale. Secondo alcuni studiosi, ad esempio, l’abete \u00e8 stato scelto dai cristiani tra tutti gli alberi sempreverdi per la sua forma triangolare, che rappresenterebbe la Santissima Trinit\u00e0.<\/p>\n

ALBERO DI NATALE<\/strong>
\nTuttavia, il primo vero albero di Natale, come lo conosciamo, fu introdotto in Germania nel 1611 dalla duchessa di Brieg che, secondo la leggenda, aveva gi\u00e0 adornato il suo castello per celebrare il Natale, quando si rese conto che un angolo di uno dei le stanze dell’edificio erano completamente vuote.
