In the chronicle, “Vita Columbae”, it is said that the missionary arrived on Lake Ness, in fact, and asked one of his monks to dive to retrieve a boat.

As the monk swam towards the boat, a monster appeared intent on devouring him. St. Columba then managed to drive away the monster by simply telling him to leave. Since then, the elusive Loch Ness monster has excited the imagination of cryptozoologists and tourists who visit the museum dedicated to him on the banks of the lake every year, to see something that is not there.

Scotland: a giant skeleton found. One thinks of the Loch Ness monster

Did the Loch Ness Monster Really Exist? According to this recent finding, yes

How many legends do we know about the Loch Ness monster? Some are truly frightening and real, while others recall the fairy tales that mothers tell children like black men. Yet, according to a recent finding of an animal carcass, someone has speculated that the ravenous Nessie really existed.

We are in Scotland and it is here that a skeleton was found on Aberdeen beach which, in size, resembles that of the Loch Ness monster.

On the web the photo has gone viral: a giant animal carcass lies on the beach which is 200 km from the infamous lake where Nessie was spotted. Aberdeen beach has become the protagonist of the world news after the passage of the storm Ciara which, breaking down on the territory, would have brought to light the remains of the frightening monster.

For those who always believed that Nessie was real, it didn’t take long for the find to confirm the theory. Scientists, however, who have always been skeptical about the existence of the mythological animal in the Scottish lake, continue to be cautious.

Among the many assumptions about the existence of the Loch Ness animal, some had speculated that the sightings were real, but what people had seen was not a monster, but a giant eel.

It must be said that given the worldwide reach of the phenomenon, several expeditions were organized on the lake to shed light on the sightings. Large-capacity sonars and underwater explorations, however, have returned no evidence that Nessie is possibly real. In addition to the presence of some marine creature as large as a shark, no trace of anomalous animals has been detected on the Loch Ness seabed.

Even in this case, after the discovery of the skeleton, the opinions of scientists totally deviate from the legend. Although, in fact, a single photograph may not be sufficient to draw conclusions, it seems evident that in reality it is the skeleton of a whale.

Although years have passed since Nessie was photographed for the first time in 1934 by Robert Kenneth Wilson, the clamor aroused by this recent discovery makes us understand how much the suggestion that revolves around the legend of Nessie is more alive than ever.

Monstruo del lago Ness, ¿qué es verdad? Leyenda y hallazgos
